Absurd Theatre

Radiohead frontman, Thom Yorke gives his views on the Hutton Report over at The Guardian.

This is a theatre of the absurd. It has left everybody I know shaking their heads in disbelief and anger. Such a performance should make us all deeply nervous about the future of Britain. While Blair wishes to draw a line under the whole episode, I hope this doesn’t happen. Sometimes a story will end up being told, no matter how many times they try to close the book.”

Nemo or Pierrot?

Franck le Calvez, a French author, is suing Disney/Pixxar over the theft of his ideas for the movie Finding Nemo.

You have to admit, there’s some shocking similarities.

On the other hand, if I was Vincent D’Onofrio, I would keep my mouth shut about Madonna and Guy Ritchie having stole my ideas for Swept Away

Oh, and to avoid confusion, it’s not the same Vincent D’Onofrio who appeared in Stanley Jubrick’s Full Metal Jacket.

Jordan of the Jungle

I haven’t watched any of it yet, but I’ll probably be glued to ITV’s new series of I’m a Celebrity, Get me Out of Here! tonight, if last night’s episode is anything to go by.

You can say what you like about Jordan, but the girl has got it all and more – and there can’t be too many hot-blooded males in the country who would vote against her.

Newspaper reports generally cite her bra size as 32FF – but in a recent interview on television, Jordan herself said she was actually 32DD.

Like it matters.

However, as far as I’m aware, she recently had another enlargement, probably taking her close to the 32FF mark.

32FF.

If you’re in the mood, here’s some pics of the big-busted model – (all of them are pretty much work-safe):

It’s Official

On my way in to the office this morning, I found out the The Office had won two surprise awards at The Golden Globes.

After years of hard work trying to battle his way into the mainstream media, in various guises, Ricky Gervais has finally started receiving some widespread recognition for his work.

Let’s hope the Americans don’t make an arse of their version of his crushingly hilarious sitcom/fakumentary.

Cheeky iMP

I haven’t been able to discuss this on The Copydesk until now, for obvious confidentiality reasons, but I thought it might interest people to know that the proposals for the BBC’s Interactive Media Player (or iMP for short – possibly Beebster?), are mooted in today’s Guardian.
